BOD Quarterly Meeting Minutes – March 1, 2008

MARCH 1 , 2008 QUARTERLY MEMBERSHIP MEETING

The meeting was called to order at 10:00 am by President Bob Mallow, with VP Dean Sankovich, Secretary Kent Larson, Interim Resort Manager Shirley Petro and 16 members in attendance.

The minutes of the December 1st quarterly meeting, and the working session minutes from February 29, were read. Motion was made by Larson to approve these minutes, 2nd by Sankovich, motion carried.

The Treasurers Report was given by V.President Dean Sankovich. (see attached working session minutes) Sankovich moved to approve these minutes, 2nd by Larson, motion carried.

The membership report was given by Sankovich. Total membership as of 12/31/07 was 4397. This total is down from 12/31/09 by 102 (2.3%). Sankovich moved to accept this report, 2nd by Larson..motion carried.

Petro introduced some of the new supervisors for 2008. Petro also advised members that Cloud 9 reservations software and our new hardware was installed and working properly with little problems. Our occupancy finished the 2007, ahead of the previous year by approximately ½%. Petro also reported that new membership sales finished at 23 for the 2007 year.

Maint Supr Shlector reported to the members the progress on the concrete expansion, the four replacement Colt II, for the Colt’s which were sold. Fifty new picnic tables have been assembled and placed in the park. These tables are like the ones in the swimming pool. He also reported that the floor covering in the restaurant has been replaced with tile.

V.President Sankovich reported in Election Chairman Myren’s absence that two qualified candidates have petitioned for election to the BOD. Charles Greene and Jerry Swarts have submitted bios that will be published in this next newsletter along with the absentee ballots.

Mallow reported that the annual meeting date has been set for June 7th, 2008.

There being no further business, Mallow asked for comments from the floor.

Larson moved to adjourn at 10:35 am. Motion was 2nd by Sankovich..motion carried.
