2021 Hart Ranch Camping Resort’s Music Festival

Summer’s not over yet! We’re giving you another reason to stomp your feet and boogie down with the Hart Ranch Camping Resort Music Festival on Friday, September 3rd and Saturday, September 4th! Join us at the Rodeo Grounds for music provided by some of the Black Hills’ biggest acts, including South Dakota’s 2020 winner for Best Live Band, Camp Comfort. Not only will there be great tunes for you to enjoy, but there will also be food trucks on hand serving finger-licking dishes to make it a family-friendly festival to remember! About the Musicians:

Camp Comfort: Based in the Black Hills, Camp Comfort is a local favorite and 2020 winner for South Dakota’s Best Live Band. Camp Comfort creates music perfect for dancing, with a self-described sound that is “equal parts bonfire jam session, reggae house party, and festival blues-rock”. After gaining popularity in Rapid City, they have branched out to play shows and festivals throughout the Midwest.

James Van Nuys & Randy McAllister

You won’t want to miss this jamming duo, who has played together for 13 years! James Van Nuys, a Black Hills sculptor and painter, rocks out on guitar and Randy McAllister, a songwriter for 35 years, entertains on the guitar and harmonica.

Kim and the Cue Balls

A trio based out of Rapid City, this fun band features Kim Plender on vocals, Dan Mulally on piano, and Mark Pecora on bass. Cut a rug to their performance of old time rock & roll and classic country.

Hot City Soul

Providing soul, jazz and oldies that will keep you dancing, Hot City Soul are a Rapid City band that are making their mark on the local music scene.
