The 9th consecutive year of rodeo fun has arrived at Hart Ranch Resort Club! The Wild West Wednesday Rough Stock Rodeo Series is back to entertain each Wednesday from July 7th through August 18th at 7pm, and guests can expect all the excitement featured at past rodeos, plus some new treats this year that are sure to delight! If you haven’t experienced a Wild West Wednesday, continue reading to learn why you need to add one of the most beloved events in the Black Hills into your family’s summer plans.
Witness World-Class Rodeo Action
Get ready for a western experience unlike any other! Watch cowboys go head-to-head in events like saddle bronc, bareback, and bull riding, and cowgirls show off their speed around the barrels. Spud Creek Productions is putting on the show in alliance with the World Champions Rodeo Alliance (WCRA), with the broncs provided by Spud Creek Rodeo Company, the bulls provided by Circle Nine Cattle Company, and Clover Leaf Productions providing the fastest horses this side of the Missouri.

Relax in Improved Accommodations
We’ve upgraded our Rodeo Arena to provide a better experience for you, our guests, as well as for the talented individuals who perform in our rodeos! Permanent lighting has been installed, which will not only allow for better views of the action but will also eliminate the noisy diesel generators that were used in prior years. Additional seating has been added, and the arena itself has also increased in size to contain even more buckin’ broncs and racing horses.
Enjoy Good Eats and Cold Beers
What could be better than a hearty meal and a frosty brew before some rodeo action? This year, two local food trucks, Smokin’ Hot Catering and Ugly Graffiti, will be serving up some delicious dishes starting at 5pm to satisfy your appetite, and our Beer Garden will feature happy hour specials from 5pm-6pm. Take in some live musical entertainment while you dine, which will be part of each week’s festivities.
Show Your Spirit with Specialty Nights
Also new this year are specialty nights, which give you the opportunity to express your gratitude to the essential workers throughout our community, as well as participate in unique, fun themes. This year’s specialty nights are as follows:

Join in on Affordable Fun – Whether You’re a Member or Not
Hart Ranch members and non-members alike are invited to attend Wild West Wednesdays! That’s right – now you can bring the whole family (3rd cousins twice removed included) and all of your friends to see why Wild West Wednesdays are one of the top summer events in the Black Hills year after year. Admission is only $5.00 for Hart Ranch members, as well as for first responders and all military members – active and retired. Non-member admission is $10, and kids under 10 get in free! Our rodeos are even more budget-friendly when you get a season pass, which is $25 for members and $50 for non-members – not bad for a full season of rodeos!
